Job Description: Web Developer
Responsibilities:

Develop current and future web applications for Highgroove Studios and clients of Highgroove Studios

Author deliverables such as stories (use-cases, technical/functional requirements), tests, and code
-
Participate actively in iterative development meetings (stand-ups, kick-offs, retrospectives), and design sessions with project teams and clients
-
Collaborate with team members, consultants, designers, and clients to provide accurate estimations, timelines, and risks associated with development
-
Contribute back to the open-source community through code, documentation, and tutorials/speaking
Requirements:
-
Experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails, Javascript, HTML, CSS, SQL or semi-related technologies (e.g. Python / Django / PHP / Symfony)

Experience in core aspects of web application development including design, development, separation of layers, configuration, performance, integration, analytics

Excellent written and verbal communication skills: strong interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented, self-started, motivated, results-driven, with high-level of energy, enthusiasm, and initiative
